Medicine Ball Twist Throw Seated Side Instructions

  1. Sit on a mat with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Hold a medicine ball with both hands in front of your chest, keeping your elbows bent and close to your sides.
  3. Engage your core muscles by pulling your belly button towards your spine.
  4. Slowly twist your torso to one side, keeping your hips and lower body stable.
  5. Pause briefly at the end of the twist, feeling the contraction in your oblique muscles.
  6. Return to the starting position by twisting your torso back to the center.
  7. Repeat the twist to the opposite side, maintaining control and stability throughout the movement.

Medicine Ball Twist Throw Seated Side Tips

  1. Position yourself on a sturdy, stable surface, preferably a workout bench, with your feet firmly planted on the ground and your knees bent at a 90-degree angle.
  2. Hold the medicine ball with both hands, keeping it close to your chest, and engage your core muscles by drawing your belly button in towards your spine.
  3. As you exhale, rotate your torso to one side, using your oblique muscles to initiate the movement, and simultaneously extend your arms out in front of you, fully extending them at shoulder height.
  4. Pause for a moment at the end of the movement, feeling the intense contraction in your obliques, and then slowly return to the starting position, inhaling as you do so.
  5. Repeat the exercise on the opposite side, alternating back and forth, focusing on maintaining a controlled and fluid motion throughout the entire set.
