Vipr Side Step Lunge Chop Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the vipr in both hands in front of your chest.
  2. Step to the side with your right foot, keeping your left foot planted.
  3. As you step, lower your body into a lunge position, bending your right knee and keeping your left leg straight.
  4. Simultaneously, chop the vipr diagonally across your body, bringing it down towards your right foot.
  5. Push off with your right foot, returning to the starting position and raising the vipr back to chest level.
  6. Repeat the movement on the opposite side, stepping with your left foot and chopping the vipr towards your left foot.

Vipr Side Step Lunge Chop Tips

  1. Start with a light to moderate weight vipr to ensure proper form and prevent injury.
  2. Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding the vipr with both hands in front of your chest.
  3. Step to the side with your right foot, bending the knee and lowering into a lunge position.
  4. As you lunge, simultaneously rotate your torso to the right and bring the vipr diagonally across your body towards your right hip.
  5. Engage your obliques, quads, and hamstrings by pushing through your right heel to stand back up and return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat the side step lunge chop exercise on the left side, alternating sides for a complete workout.
