Vipr Side Step Chop Overview

The vipr Side step chop workout is designed to engage the Obliques, Quads, and Hamstrings.

The vipr’s primary function is to provide resistance and stability, while also activating secondary muscles.

Vipr Side Step Chop Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding the vipr with both hands in front of your chest.
  2. Take a step to the side with your right foot, keeping your left foot planted and your hips facing forward.
  3. As you step, simultaneously lower the vipr diagonally across your body towards your right hip.
  4. Push off with your right foot and return to the starting position, lifting the vipr back to chest height.
  5. Repeat the movement, this time stepping to the left with your left foot and lowering the vipr diagonally across your body towards your left hip.

Vipr Side Step Chop Tips

  1. Start by standing with your feet hip-width apart and holding the vipr at chest level.
  2. Engage your core and keep your back straight throughout the exercise.
  3. Step to the side with your right foot, simultaneously lowering into a squat position.
  4. As you squat, chop the vipr diagonally across your body, aiming towards your left foot.
  5. Feel the burn in your obliques as you twist your torso and engage your quads and hamstrings.
  6. Push through your left heel to return to the starting position, bringing the vipr back to chest level.
  7. Repeat the side step chop on the other side, alternating between left and right for a complete workout.
