Russian Twist Overview

The Russian twist is a bodyweight exercise that primarily targets the obliques, the muscles on the sides of the abdomen.

In this workout, the bodyweight is used to twist the torso from side to side, engaging the obliques.

While other muscles such as the rectus abdominis and hip flexors may also be involved, the focus is on the obliques.
