  3. Engage your core muscles and slowly lift your upper body off the floor, curling up towards your knees.
  4. As you reach the top of the sit-up, explosively throw the medicine ball overhead, extending your arms fully.
  5. Catch the medicine ball as it comes back down and lower your upper body back to the starting position.
