  2. Grasp the pulley handle with an overhand grip, palms facing downward.
  3. Keep your back straight and engage your core muscles.
  4. Exhale as you pull the handle straight up towards your chin, keeping your elbows out to the sides.
  5. Pause for a moment at the top of the movement, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  6. Inhale as you slowly lower the handle back down to the starting position.
