Neck Retraction Rotation Lying Instructions

  1. Lie down on your back on a flat surface, such as a yoga mat or exercise mat.
  2. Place your hands by your sides, palms facing down.
  3. Gently lift your head off the ground, tucking your chin towards your chest.
  4. Rotate your head to the right, keeping your chin tucked in.
  5. Return your head to the center, facing forward.
  6. Repeat the rotation to the left side.

Neck Retraction Rotation Lying Tips

  1. Start by lying flat on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
  2. Gently tuck your chin towards your chest, engaging the muscles in the front of your neck.
  3. Slowly rotate your head to the right, keeping your chin tucked and focusing on the muscles on the side of your neck.
  4. Hold the position for a few seconds, feeling the stretch in your neck.
  5. Return your head to the center and repeat the rotation to the left side.
  6. Perform 10-15 repetitions on each side, gradually increasing the range of motion as your neck muscles become stronger.
