Leg Extension Machine Instructions

  1. Adjust the seat height and backrest position to ensure proper alignment and comfort.
  2. Sit on the machine with your back firmly against the backrest and your feet flat on the footpad.
  3. Grip the handles on the sides of the seat for stability.
  4. Extend your legs in front of you, straightening your knees, until your legs are parallel to the floor.
  5. Slowly lower your legs back to the starting position, bending your knees, and repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Leg Extension Machine Tips

  1. Adjust the seat height so that your knees align with the pivot point of the machine, ensuring proper range of motion.
  2. Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the footpad, keeping your toes pointed forward.
  3. Before starting, engage your core and sit up straight, maintaining a neutral spine throughout the exercise.
  4. Slowly extend your legs, focusing on contracting your quadriceps muscles, and avoid locking your knees at the top.
  5. Pause briefly at the top of the movement to maximize the tension in your quads, then slowly lower the weight back down.
  6. Keep your movements controlled and avoid using momentum to lift the weight, as this can reduce the effectiveness of the exercise.
  7. Start with a weight that allows you to perform 10-12 reps with proper form, gradually increasing the resistance as you get stronger.
