Leg Extension Lying Instructions

  1. Lie flat on your back on a mat or bench with your legs extended.
  2. Place your hands by your sides, palms facing down.
  3. Engage your core and keep your lower back pressed into the mat.
  4. Bend one knee and lift your foot off the ground, keeping your other leg extended.
  5. Slowly straighten your bent leg, lifting your foot towards the ceiling.
  6. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower your leg back down to the starting position.

  1. Start by lying flat on your back with your legs extended and your feet flexed.
  2. Place your hands by your sides, palms facing down, to stabilize your body.
  3. Engage your core and squeeze your quads as you slowly lift your legs until they are parallel to the floor.
  4. Hold the contraction for a brief moment, focusing on the tension in your quads.
  5. Lower your legs back down with control, keeping your quads engaged throughout the movement.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of reps, ensuring proper form and avoiding any jerking motions.
