Lat Pulldown Supinated Grip Instructions

  1. Sit on the lat pulldown machine with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Grasp the bar with a supinated grip, palms facing towards you, hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Keep your chest up and your shoulders down as you pull the bar down towards your chest.
  4. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together as you pull the bar down.
  5. Pause for a moment at the bottom of the movement, feeling the contraction in your back muscles.
  6. Slowly release the bar back to the starting position, fully extending your arms.

Lat Pulldown Supinated Grip Tips

  1. Start by adjusting the seat height to ensure your feet are flat on the floor and your thighs are parallel to the ground.
  2. Grip the bar with your palms facing you, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, and keep your wrists straight.
  3. Engage your core and maintain a slight arch in your lower back throughout the exercise.
  4. Initiate the movement by squeezing your shoulder blades together and pulling the bar down towards your chest.
  5. Focus on using your lats to drive the movement, rather than relying on your biceps or momentum.
