Kettlebell Power Clean Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly turned out, and place the kettlebell on the floor in front of you.
  2. Squat down and grab the kettlebell handle with both hands, palms facing towards you.
  3. Drive through your legs and hips, explosively extending them as you pull the kettlebell up towards your chest.
  4. As the kettlebell reaches chest height, quickly rotate your elbows under the weight and catch it in the racked position, resting on the back of your forearm and upper arm.
  5. Lower the kettlebell back down to the starting position by reversing the movement, keeping your back straight and core engaged.

  1. Start with a light kettlebell to get comfortable with the movement.
  2. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly turned out.
  3. Bend your knees and hinge at the hips, keeping your back straight.
  4. Grab the kettlebell with an overhand grip, palms facing your body.
  5. Engage your quads and glutes as you explosively extend your hips.
  6. As the kettlebell rises, shrug your shoulders and pull it towards your chest.
  7. Finish the movement by catching the kettlebell in the rack position.
