Aerobic Step Split Squat Instructions

  1. Place an aerobic step in front of you, ensuring it is stable and secure.
  2. Stand facing the step with your feet hip-width apart.
  3. Step your left foot back, placing the ball of your foot on the step.
  4. Bend both knees, lowering your body towards the ground until your right thigh is parallel to the floor.
  5. Push through your right heel to straighten your right leg and return to the starting position.

Aerobic Step Split Squat Tips

  1. Start with a low step height to master the split squat form.
  2. Place one foot on the step, keeping your weight on the heel.
  3. Lower your body by bending your knee and hip, engaging your quads.
  4. Keep your chest up and core tight throughout the exercise.
  5. Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
  6. Alternate legs and repeat for an equal number of reps on each side.
  7. Gradually increase step height as you gain strength and stability.
