Mountain Push-up Instructions

  1. Start in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  2. Engage your core and glutes to maintain a stable position.
  3. Bend your elbows and lower your chest towards the ground, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  4. Push through your palms and straighten your arms to return to the starting position.
  5. From the high plank position, lift your hips up and back, forming an inverted V shape with your body.
  6. Lower your hips back down to the starting position, returning to the high plank position.

Mountain Push-up Tips

  1. Start in a high plank position with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Engage your core and maintain a straight line from head to heels throughout the exercise.
  3. Lower your upper body towards the ground by bending your elbows, keeping them close to your body.
  4. As you push back up, focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together to engage the shoulders.
  5. Keep your neck relaxed and avoid sagging or hiking your hips during the movement.
  6. To challenge yourself, elevate your feet on a stable surface or try adding a resistance band around your wrists.
